MTA vs. Disabled Commuters

For this Columbia Video Newsroom package, I followed a disabled rider on his commute home — revealing his daily struggles and conflicting thoughts on the MTA’s new budget plan and installation. After being paralyzed nine years ago, he remains an active member of the MTA Transit Accessibility Committee. Change is not in the books for him, though, as accessible stations won’t become available to the disabled until he is 90.
